Maddie Boehnlein
Hi! I’m Maddie Boehnlein (pronounced bane-line). I’m a multidisciplinary designer based in Washington, DC. I’ve grown as a designer in the world of nonprofits, making good work for good causes. I currently work in-house at the KIPP Foundation as their Graphic Design Manager, supporting the design and brand management of 28 KIPP regions, 279 schools, and nearly 125,000 students across the nation.
My work balances edge and whimsy—a true reflection of my personality. I’m drawn to bold, values-driven brands that aren’t afraid to stand unapologetically in who they are, and I strive to bring them clarity, spirit, and a touch of playfulness.
